George Montague’s debut album ‘have you met George’ was recorded live on the floor at Rockfield Studios and produced by music legend Matt Butler (Paul McCartney, Madness, Luther Vandross). ’have you met George’ is an eclectic array of genres culminating in a unique sound; described as energetic rock, pop, soul and blues underpinned with vintage R&B, funk and jazz. A debut album of 11 original songs all written and performed by George on piano and lead vocals; accompanied by world class musicians. 

Whilst touring London and the South West; gaining playlist status on regional BBC, independent, online and international radio stations, ‘have you met George’ also made a big impact online through George’s music videos and live videos on YouTube. Bringing an ever-building global recognition these new fans met his songs, excited by his new music and live performances. This led to enthusiastic airplay from the likes of BBC Introducing, Tom Robinson on BBC 6Music, a feature on BBC Points West and anticipation for the next album…
